Now you can turn your matches in to money by using your Tinder talent to become a dating app coach – here’s how.
A new job has emerged which is perfect for anyone who considers themselves a master of dating apps.
It’s fair to say that dating apps are pretty popular these days, especially among students. The problem is, not everyone is good at it.
There is a definite art to building a successful profile. You need the perfect picture along with a bio which makes people want to speak to you.
Then there’s actually chatting to people on dating sites… how do you keep the conversation flowing enough to result in a date? Well, this is where the Professional Coach comes in.
What is a Professional Dating App Coach?
Freelancing site, Bidvine, aims to help us all get the most out of dating apps by encouraging people to sign up as a Tinder, Bumble, or Grindr coach.
If you’re successful in becoming a Professional Coach, you’ll take over your client’s dating profile on whichever app they’re using. You build their profile, do the swiping, chat to people, and organise dates for them.
The only part you don’t have to do is actually go on the date. Hopefully these people are better when it comes to face-to-face interaction.
How to become a Professional Dating App Coach
If the above sounds like it would suit you, you’ll be wanting to know how you get into this line of work. Well, don’t get ahead of yourself – it’s not as easy as you’d think. It’s definitely not as simple as a straightforward job application.
Before becoming a Professional Coach, you must prove that you have extensive dating app expertise.
Anyone who wants to go for the job must prove they have had at least 250 matches in the last 12 months and use screenshots to show they have been on a minimum of 10 dates.
It’s not enough to just be good at swiping – you need to translate this into tangible results and be getting regular dates.
Once your application has been approved, you can then set up a profile on Bidvine, allowing clients to contact you if they need dating help.
How much could you earn as a Professional Dating App Coach?
It seems that anyone who is serious enough about dating app success is willing to pay a decent amount for a coach.
There is a possibility of earning up to £30 an hour for your coaching efforts, so even if you only do a few hours a week, you could earn a hefty sum of extra money. And as you’ll be working on a freelance basis, it’s the perfect job to fit in around your studies.
According to Bidvine, customers can “opt for coaching sessions once a week, two to three times per week, or four to seven times per week” depending on how much they’re willing to spend.
The site recommends seeing your client at least three times a week at first for optimum results.
Clients who opt to use the coaching service will first answer questions about what areas of the app they would like to improve in.
This includes whether they want to use Tinder, Bumble, or Grindr, and what they’re specifically looking for from the app – be it a summer fling or ‘the one’.
Clients will also be asked to brief coaches on the type of person they’re looking for and if they have any turn-offs which need to be avoided.
There is also the option of having lessons online or in person. Considering the fact that this job is all based online, this would be the more obvious option – but if your client requires swiping lessons, you’ll need to meet them face-to-face.
If you as the coach are successful at winning your client a date, you’ll have to give them a full briefing about the person, what you’ve been chatting about, and what they should do and say on the date.
